Sheraz and his co-founder Akhil Kumar have grown AGA into the firm that it is today. He is dedicated to making sure they and their clients continue to flourish, by looking after the welfare of this team and continuing AGA’s laser focus on helping clients achieve their financial and personal goals.

Sheraz has seen his own prominence and presence in the industry grow, along with the firm.

Sheraz’s visionary leadership is notably reflected in the development of AGA’s proprietary Asset Track Program, an asset management program designed to provide consistent and effective performance geared towards growth. This innovative program delivers cost-effective, high-value solutions, epitomizing Sheraz’s commitment to enhancing client experiences.

His Background:

It could be said that Sheraz Iftikhar began his executive training as a child in his native Pakistan, where his father – a colonel in the Pakistani military — instilled in him the importance of discipline and personal integrity. When Sheraz was 19 years old, his family immigrated to the United States, exposing him to the diverse landscapes of New York City. There, he honed his ability to connect with people from various backgrounds. Sheraz worked his way through Hunter College, where he graduated with a dual major in Economics and Media studies. His financial career commenced at a boutique wealth management firm in New York. There, Sheraz delved into the complexities of the market, learning the importance of clear communication with clients.

In 2007, he put his training into practice when he co-founded Arch Global Advisors. “I think in a way all my experiences…as an immigrant, working part time jobs to put myself through college, as well as my early experiences on Wall Street…were preparing me for that moment,” Sheraz says.

Fun Fact:

To balance his life, Sheraz stays fit – and then some. He is a marathon runner who, in November 2023, clocked his fastest time for the 26.2-mile distance, completing the Indianapolis Marathon in a time of 3 hours, 40 minutes. The level of achievement and accomplishment when you cross the finish line is incomparable,” he said.

Sheraz also volunteers his time at various non-profits and has served on the board of Achilles International, an organization dedicated to transforming the lives of people with disabilities through athletic competition and social connections.
